Toward Infinitely-On Agents
Blended reality incorporates elements of augmented reality to complement the physical presence of the robotic agents that have been the central theme of the personal robots group. This research not only extends into other projects such as Mars Escape, Tofulandia, and FonduePhone but is the central theme of Playtime Computing, a blended reality space designed to be safe for kids 4 and older to play, interact, and learn with robotic agents.
Blended Reality is primarily driven by the Playtime Computing project led by David Robert. The idea has suffused throughout the group in various projects and continues to be investigated in various contexts.
